Below we explain what information we collect during your visit to our website and how it is used:

 

1. Collection and processing of personal data and the nature and purpose of processing

When visiting the website, each time a user (or other visitor) accesses our website and each time a file is retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. This data is stored exclusively for internal system-related and statistical purposes.

We collect the following types of personal data from you:

Data that you provide to us when using our website, in particular:

  • Data that identifies you personally such as your name and e-mail address, address and telephone number as well as your company,
  • Other personal data that we are legally obliged or authorized to collect and process and that we need for your authentication, identification or to verify the data we have collected.

This data is processed to handle the contractual relationship. The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. The storage period is limited to the purpose of the contract and, if applicable, statutory and contractual retention obligations.

Data that we automatically collect in server log files when you use our website:

  • Notification of successful retrieval

This data is automatically deleted within 7 days.

Our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR in collecting the data is based on the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website
  • Ensuring convenient use of our website,
  • evaluation of system security and stability and 
  • for other administrative purposes.

Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

We also collect statistical information about visits to our website and information about data traffic to and from other websites. We receive the data from the devices (including mobile devices) that you use to use our website or to contact us in any other way regarding our services.  
 

When using the contact form:

For questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on the website. This requires you to provide your name, your position (e.g. owner or their representative, property manager, developer, tenant), your telephone number and/or a valid e-mail address so that we know who sent the request and can answer it or contact you to provide you with relevant information and/or offers.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be automatically deleted after your request has been processed or your consent has been withdrawn. Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

 

When using the login area:

If you have a user account created by us, you can log in to your personal area. You will need your e-mail address and password for this. This is not stored on our server. For verification, we use a so-called hash check value that does not allow your password to be reconstructed.

 

YouTube

We use the platform YouTube to upload our own videos and make them publicly accessible. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Some web pages of our website contain links or connections to the services of Google. In general, we are not responsible for the content of websites to which we link. In the event that you follow a link to YouTube, we would like to point out that Google stores the data of its users (e.g., personal information, IP address) according to its own data usage policies and uses it for business purposes. Data processing can be minimized by logging out of your YouTube account and possibly other Google accounts before accessing the page.

YouTube uses cookies, among other things, for data collection and statistical data evaluation, to capture reliable video statistics, to prevent fraud, and to improve user-friendliness. This website refers to an online presence on the LinkedIn platform in order to communicate with applicants, customers, interested parties, and users active there, and to inform them about our services. This is a service provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

As the provider of this information service, we collect and process data from your use of our online presence for the purposes of advertising communication, responding to your inquiries about various products, services, and events, as well as for recruitment purposes. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) and (b) of the GDPR.

In addition, we would like to point out that you use this platform and its functions at your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive features (e.g., commenting, sharing, rating). Alternatively, you can access the information we offer on our website www.paul.tech.

When you visit, LinkedIn captures your IP address as well as other information stored in the form of cookies on your computer. The data collected about you in this context is processed. The personal data of users from the European Union remains in data centers within the EU. However, access to the data by U.S. security authorities cannot be completely ruled out. 2. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

  • This is necessary for the execution of contractual relationships with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),

In these cases, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the necessary minimum. 3. Rights of Users

Upon request, we will gladly inform you whether and which personal data related to you is stored (Art. 15 GDPR), specifically regarding the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling.

You also have the right to request the correction of any incorrectly collected personal data or the completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR).

Furthermore, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your data from us if the legal requirements for this are met (Art. 18 GDPR).

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request the transmission of this data to another controller (Art. 20 GDPR).

Additionally, you have the so-called "right to be forgotten," meaning you can request the deletion of your personal data from us if the legal requirements for this are met (Art. 17 GDPR).

Regardless, your personal data will automatically be deleted by us if the purpose for which it was collected no longer exists or the data processing was unlawful.

According to Art. 7(3) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have previously given at any time. This will result in us no longer being able to continue the data processing based on this consent in the future. You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, provided that a right of objection is legally provided. In the event of a valid withdrawal, your personal data will also automatically be deleted by us (Art. 21 GDPR).

4. Duration of Data Storage

Unless otherwise noted in this statement, the collected data will be stored by us for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the contracts we have entered into with you or until you exercise your right to deletion or your right to data transfer to another company. Only where commercial and tax law retention periods must be observed can the storage duration of certain data extend up to 10 years.
