We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist (m/f/d) to support us in the development and implementation of AI-based solutions for energy optimization at our locations in Mannheim, Berlin or Nuremberg.

As part of our work, we use modern technologies and intelligent monitoring to reduce the energy consumption of buildings and improve the comfort and efficiency of the occupants. Data science has a crucial role to play in drawing valuable insights from the collected data and making automated decisions. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources, developing machine learning models and implementing optimized energy saving strategies.

Your profile:

  • A degree in computer science, statistics or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Experience with the use of Python, R and other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of the use of SQL databases.
  • Experience in working with big data and cloud-based data analytics platforms.

Your tasks:

  • Analyzing large amounts of data to gain valuable insights and knowledge that can help improve our products.
  • Development and implementation of machine learning models that improve our products and services and increase customer loyalty.
  • Performing data exploration and cleansing to ensure data quality and facilitate data preparation for analysis.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure data analytics and models are aligned with client needs.
  • Track and respond to current trends in data analytics and machine learning to ensure our organization stays on the cutting edge.
